Powers
- Divinity:
As a true angel, Aetherra possesses divine abilities not seen anywhere else. They control immense power that is capable of ripping the fabric of reality itself.
- Shadow & Light Magic:
This also including the manipulation of what you can see and not see. Example: Bending light to cause an object to be completely invisible. This can also be a ranged attack in concentrated light beams that effectively fry anything they touch.
- Soul Manipilation
The ability to perceive one's soul, this can allow them to see your intentions, your morality, etc. They can also completely destroy a soul should they get their hands on you. This is a close range attack, so staying far away from them can keep you safe from this. Additionally, they can sometimes expend their own energy to influence souls, effectively controlling an individual on a very base, fundemental level.
- Creation:
The ability to create things from thin air. Sometimes this can even be the creation of life forms, but Aetherra seems to be against this, as it gets them in trouble. However, objects are free game.
- Temporal Perception:
Power to experience echoes of past events, gaining insights or foresight based on the memories of souls in the area.
- Realm Movement:
The rare ability to traverse the boundaries between different levels of the afterlife, exploring various realms and bringing back knowledge or items.
Aetherra is the final boss of Core: Afterlife, the final antagonist, and the overwhelming force. Aetherra is an ancient being directly assigned to watch over the afterlife many many eons ago by the divine. They express no interest in the death, nor the living, but only seek to do well for their creator. They harbor immense power, and although they do not feel hatred, show nothing but the emotion in their actions towards demons, and occasionally the dead. Their extremist behavior has been consistent throughout the ages, and they are incapable of change, proving themselves to be irredeemable. They often maintain a facade around their subjects, a tall but slender individual with grace and poise. However, they have two transformations to unleash further power should the situation call for it - their first transformation covering them in feathers and light, and their second unveiling their original angellic and inhuman form.
