Jean

Right Image

Basics

Species:

Namekian

Age:

Young Adult

Power Lvl:

~120,000

Personality

Jean is an incredibly kindhearted and cheerful Namekian with a love for the concept of total peace and harmony - even knowing that is an impossibility.
While alone, Jean is pretty neutral in expression. Put him in front of a friendly face, however, and he'll have a pep in his step. He loves jokes, but understands very few - sometimes he might laugh anyway, though... even if there was no joke, he just can't tell!
On missions to protect planets and people, though, he begins to show a drastically different temperment. His kindness drives a newly serious tone, not a smile to be found as he locks in, aiming to do his best in bringing peace wherever he goes.

Abilities:

Ki Control
Magic Materialization

Backstory

After the attacks by Frieza on planet Namek when Jean was just a child, he became heartbroken thinking about the other victims of Frieza that didn't have someone protecting them. This shook little Jean, who was simply overflowing with empathy even for folks he's never met. Driven by his empathy, Jean hijacked a Namekian spaceship and began a journey to becoming that person who would protect otherwise forgotten or defenceless planets.
Along the way, Jean's spaceship was traded in for a better one to allow him speedier travel in emergencies.
While on a planet for some length of time, he does his best to adopt customs and even wear local clothing, but he will always revert back to his Namekian garb when back in his ship.
An interesting quirk Jean harbors is a love for eating food. Thanks to an alien childhood friend, Jean picked up a sort of "hobby" in eating and seeking out new and interesting foods to try. He's just a little shy about this, so very few people actually know. He's used to bringing food along his travels, even installing a fridge on his ship to keep it for longer!

Species:

Saiyan

Age:

Adult

Power Lvl:

~500

Status:

Deceased

Personality

Bean held an air of pep and positivity around him at all times. All smiles, all the time. He was incredibly sociable when needed, but truly preferred spending time alone, working. He found it hard to take situations too seriously if they weren't completely dire, leaving him seeming careless at times, even frustratingly so.
While Bean did indeed find the idea of fighting to be something great, his love for other things, such as science and biology, overpowered that easily. He was an incredibly curious mind, something that fueled most of the moments where he would step out of his comfort zone.

Lore

Story

Bean is a low-class warrior who's morality is rather grey. Very much the "do as he's told" type, Bean served under Frieza for nearly the entirety of his life after planet Vegeta was destroyed when he was young. He wasn't very in-the-loop on what was going on in the Frieza Force around him, always keeping busy with his own work.
Initially made to train as a child, Bean eventually realized he much preferred poking around at surrounding wildlife on the alien planets he would end up on. This quickly turned into a passion, with Bean sneaking away from training to learn more about the creatures around him. Eventually, he would advocate for his position in the Frieza Force to be strictly science-based, proposing a new type of Saibamen army. The concept was accepted and Bean quickly got to work.
As time went on and Bean got more and more results from biologically improving on Saibamen, a few of his supiriors looked into his work a little more closely. A "stronger, smarter Saibaman" was on the cards, but only Bean was okay with that. Worried that such a pop-up army would quickly revolt, Frieza told Bean to pack it up and get back to training. Bean, having nearly completed his work anyway, decided to ignore this command - finishing the development of a single seed that would produce a powerful smart Saibaman. Sadly, Bean would never bear witness to the fruits of his labors, as the assasin Ghee would be sent after him, cementing his fate and ending his life.

Saibon

Right Image

Basics

Species:

Enhanced Saibaman

Age:

Young Adult

Power Lvl:

~480,000

Personality:

On a daily basis, Saibon is just a smidge anxious. He's always on a mission, always learning, and always ready for whatever life may throw at him next. Saibon has a nervous habit of screetching much like a regular Saibaman, something that doesn't appear to be a sign of any anxiety during a fight - sometimes even seeming like an excited war cry. However, once he starts making funny little sounds when all is quiet, it becomes glaringly obvious that this is more of a nervous tic. All that being said, he is NOT some ball of nerves, he's plenty capable of functioning normally, most people he encounters won't even realize he's a little on edge.
He comes off as cold and indifferent most of time, but he's incredibly easy to win over once shown any genuine kindness. He's incredibly loyal, but also extremely defiant, making his loyalty only truly shine in dire situations. Coming from a species that was effectively enslaved to become an army has left him with an aggressive hatred of being controlled and taking orders. If you want to ask Saibon for a favor, asking in the wrong way will result in him doing the complete opposite just to prove a point.
His morality is incredibly grey, much like his creator, leaving him unempathetic and overwhelmingly pragmatic.

Backstory

The resulting product of Bean's research and labors, Saibon is the only member of the smarter, stronger Saibaman variant. A little taller, at a solid 5'4, Saibon stands out from his stupider, weaker kind.
Saibon was "born" when the seed that sprouted him managed to find it's way outside after Bean's death and the destruction of his workspace. Saibon clawed his way out of the ground fully grown and completely confused. He began investigating his surroundings, learning a little about Bean and his goals in creating Saibon.
Convinced that his creator was a good man undeserving of his fate, Saibon set out to avenge his death.
Saibon's survival alarmed the Frieza Force, who sent out small squads to take down Saibon. A big mistake they made was attempting a "cruel joke" in sending Saibamen after him, only to find out that Saibon could simply absorb them, enhancing his power with each Saibaman thrown at him.
After Frieza's death, Saibon had a brief moment thinking he was safe, until the Cooler force was sent after him, intending to clean up Frieza's mess.
Amongst those sent after him would be Ghee - the assassin who killed Bean. Saibon had proved himself an issue, one that needed to be snuffed out by a stronger hand. Their showdown wouldn't last too long, as Ghee would find out about Cooler's death mid-fight. Not getting paid for the effort anymore, she walked away from the battle. Saibon, however, was determined to avenge Bean, and gave chase...

Personality:

A malicious, grinning monster. Pyron is incapable of empathy, has pretty short foresight, and a love for one thing only: ruining planets.
He struts around beaming with pride and a sense of supiriority, believing himself and (most of) his kind to be the few worthy of survival.
Pyron has never truly cared about anything.
He has never shown mercy.

Abilities:

Ki Control
Magma Control

Lore

Backstory

Pyron hails from a volcanic planet in a far-off galaxy, a world where fire, magma, and volcanic eruptions are constant, and his species (born from a massive eruption deep within his planet’s core) thrives in such harsh conditions. Amongst his species is the culture of pure, unmitigated destruction. His home planet is covered in volcanos, lava lakes and rivers, and seems like a planet in the middle of it's violent death. The cultural obligations of each member of his species includes subjecting other planets to this fate as well, destroying planets one after another in their wake. Pyron, being amongst the strongest of his species, is an ambitious sort who aspires to cause the highest quantity of destruction of his kind. As a result, he's become quite skilled in it. Merely touching down on a planet can cause natural disasters of unprecedented scale, wiping out massive quantities of life.

Pyron's powers are simple, but effective. Pyron has the ability to control molten materials. This power has a limited range, but on smaller planets could even allow him to control the very core of a planet with a molten core (like Earth). The planetary stress his presence causes is enough to change the trajectory of terrestrial life permanently before he even acts. On larger planets, however, he will unleash the worst of his violent powers. An added bonus, in his eyes, to his destruction happens to be "whoever can survive, deserves to survive." Deeming the victims of his acts to be unworthy of life, but this also prevents him from targeting the same place twice. This is not his goal, not even remotely, but he sees it as a good.

A faint aura of heat surrounds him at all times, warping the air like the haze above a volcanic vent. When he speaks or moves, a soft, crackling sound of flames can be heard, as if the very air around him is being singed by his presence. Pyron gives the impression that he’s not just a villain to be defeated, but a force of nature that must be endured or overcome.
